This manufacturing company website design project was for Hexa Industries, a Doha factory in the Hexa Group that makes HVAC ducts, cladding and slotted channels. The site groups fifteen products into four clear families, shows approvals and certificates, and puts a "Get a Quote" button in reach on every page.

The challenge

Hexa Industries is a member of Hexa Group, based on Street 32 in the Old Industrial Area of Doha. It specialises in custom-fabricated HVAC ducts and cladding, plus support products such as slotted channels. Its customers are MEP contractors, consultants and project buyers working on building and industrial projects.

A duct factory sells to people who already know exactly what they need. They are not browsing; they are checking. The brief for the website followed from that:

  1. Show the full product range clearly. Hexa makes many related items — straight and round ducts, volume control dampers, access doors, PIR and phenolic ducts, channels in two sizes, cladding sheets. A buyer should find their item in seconds.
  2. Prove the products are approved. On construction projects in Qatar, a supplier usually needs consultant approvals before materials can be used. Previous approvals and certificates had to be easy to find.
  3. Make quoting easy. Contractors want prices for a specific list. A quote request had to be one click away.
  4. Fit the group. Hexa Industries sits alongside other Hexa Group companies, including Pacific Ocean (whose site we also built). The look and structure needed to feel related.

Why manufacturers often get this wrong#

Many factory websites show a big photo of the building and a paragraph about quality, then hide the actual products in a PDF. Buyers on a deadline do not download PDFs. Good manufacturing company website design puts the products, sizes and approvals on the page itself, where they can be read on a phone at a site office.

What we built

We built a compact, product-first website with six main sections: Home, About Us, Products, Previous Approvals, Certificates and Contact Us.

Four product families#

All products are grouped into four families, each with its own page:

Family Products
GI Ducting and Accessories Straight duct, round duct, GI VCDs, GI access doors, GI rings
PIR Ducting and Accessories PIR ducts, phenolic ducts, antimicrobial ducts, PIR VCDs
Slotted Channels 41x21 and 41x41, in GI and MS
Aluminium Cladding Duct cladding and pipe cladding, in plain and stucco sheets

The home page lists each family with its items underneath, so a buyer sees the whole range before clicking anything. Each family then has a "View Product" page with the detail.

Approvals and certificates up front#

Previous Approvals and Certificates have their own places in the main menu. A consultant or project manager checking whether Hexa is approved can get there in one tap, without asking the sales team for documents.

Quoting and contact#

  • A "Get a Quote" button in the header on every page.
  • Phone and a dedicated email address for duct enquiries at the top of the site.
  • A WhatsApp button, because many contractors in Qatar prefer a quick message.
  • Full factory address in the footer.

Plain-language About section#

The About page explains Hexa's goal — to be a leading HVAC duct factory known for service and quality — and its focus on its team. Short, direct, and easy to read in a minute.

Managed from an admin panel#

Products, approvals and certificates are added from an admin panel, so the team can upload a new approval letter the day it arrives.

Decisions that mattered#

  • Products on the page, not in a PDF. Faster for buyers, and readable by Google.
  • Approvals in the main menu. In construction, approval status often decides the order.
  • One design family with Pacific Ocean. Group companies look connected and professional together.

Advice for manufacturers#

If you make products to order, your website is a catalogue and a credibility check at the same time. List every product family clearly, show your approvals, and make the quote button impossible to miss. That is what turns a visit from a contractor into a request for prices.

This site is not online at the moment; this write-up is based on the version that was live in December 2025.

Questions about this project

What should a manufacturing company website include?
Every product family with its sizes and options, approvals and certificates, the factory address, and a quote button on every page. Hexa Industries' site covers all of these in six sections.
Why show approvals on a supplier website?
On construction projects in Qatar, materials often need consultant approval. Showing previous approvals saves buyers time and helps them shortlist your company quickly.
Can the factory update products itself?
Yes. Products, approvals and certificates were managed from an admin panel, so new documents could go online the same day.
