Pacific Ocean, a Doha engineering firm in the Hexa Group, hired us as its website design company in Qatar. It makes PLC and SCADA control systems, low-voltage switchgear and bus duct trunking. We built a corporate site that explains these products in plain words and puts real projects, partner brands and certificates up front, so procurement teams can shortlist the company quickly.

The challenge

Pacific Ocean designs, engineers and manufactures control and power systems: PLC and SCADA automation, building management systems (BMS), low-voltage switchgear panels and bus duct trunking. It runs its own office and panel assembly factory in Qatar and is part of Hexa Group.

Its buyers are not casual visitors. They are project managers, consultants and procurement teams in oil and gas, government, healthcare, telecom, infrastructure, heavy metal and food and beverage. These people visit a supplier's website for one reason: to decide whether this company is safe to put on a tender list.

So the brief was clear:

  1. Prove capability fast. A procurement officer should see real completed projects, recognised partner brands and quality certificates within a few clicks.
  2. Explain the products without drowning people in jargon. PLC, SCADA, BMS and LV switchgear need to be described clearly enough for a non-engineer, but accurately enough for an engineer.
  3. Show the sectors served. A hospital buyer wants to see healthcare. An oil and gas buyer wants to see oil and gas.
  4. Make contact easy. Phone, fax and a contact form for enquiries and quotes.
  5. Support hiring. As a manufacturer, Pacific Ocean also needs a careers page.

The common problem with industrial websites#

Many engineering companies in the Gulf have websites that are either a single page with a logo and a phone number, or a heavy PDF catalogue turned into web pages. Neither helps a buyer who needs to compare three suppliers in an afternoon. We wanted this site to work like a well-organised capability statement.

Choosing a website design company in Qatar for an industrial brand#

An industrial website is judged by people who are trained to look for risk. A broken link, an old certificate or a project photo with no detail makes them move on. So the job was less about decoration and more about order: every claim on the site needed proof sitting next to it, and every page needed to be easy to keep up to date as new projects finish. That shaped every design choice that followed.

What we built

We built a corporate website with ten clear sections, each one answering a question a buyer would ask.

Section The buyer's question it answers
About Who are you and how long have you been doing this?
Services What can you do for my project?
Products Which systems do you make?
Projects Have you done this before, at this scale?
Partners Whose equipment do you work with?
Certificates Do you meet the required standards?
Clients Who already trusts you?
Careers (for job seekers) Are you hiring?
Contact How do I reach the right person?

Products, grouped the way buyers search#

We split products into two main groups — Automation (BMS and PLC) and LV Switchgear — because that is how buyers and consultants separate them in a tender. Each product page explains what the system does, where it is used and why it matters, in plain English first and technical detail second.

Proof before promises#

The home page leads with featured completed projects and partner brand logos such as Schneider Electric, ABB and Siemens. For an industrial buyer, recognised partner brands and finished projects carry more weight than any headline we could write.

Sector coverage#

The site names the seven sectors Pacific Ocean serves: oil and gas, infrastructure, government, healthcare, telecom, heavy metal, and food and beverage. A buyer from any of these can see at a glance that their industry is covered.

Built to be updated#

New projects, certificates and products are added from an admin panel, with images stored on the server. The client's team can keep the site current without calling a developer for every new project photo.

What we kept simple#

No pop-ups, no auto-playing video, no forced sign-up. Industrial buyers are busy and often browse on site or on a phone. The site loads quickly and gets out of their way.

Questions about this project

What should an industrial company website include?
At minimum: clear product groups, completed projects, partner brands, quality certificates, sectors served and an easy way to request a quote. Pacific Ocean's site covers all of these in ten sections.
Do you build websites for companies in Qatar?
Yes. We work with several businesses in Doha and across Qatar, including engineering, food, education, pet care and consultancy firms. Everything is handled remotely over call, email and WhatsApp, and we share working previews at every stage.
Can the client update projects and certificates themselves?
Yes. The site has an admin panel where the team adds new projects, products and certificates with photos, without needing a developer.
How is an engineering website different from a normal business website?
The visitors are buyers and consultants checking if you are qualified for a tender. They need proof — projects, certificates, partner brands — more than marketing copy. We plan the page structure around those checks.
