Overview

The project in short

Auravita wanted to sell its French Fluency Accelerator course online, but only to paying members. We built an e-learning platform with a premium public website, a private student area, 27 video lessons across 6 modules, automatic progress tracking, and both online and offline payment options.

The brief

What Auravita needed

This e-learning platform development project started with a simple goal. Auravita teaches French in a simple, practical way. Its course, French Fluency Accelerator, takes learners from their first "bonjour" to everyday conversation. The teaching was ready. What it needed was a proper home online.

The brief had a few clear needs:

  1. Paid members only. Lessons had to stay locked until a student paid. Anyone could see the curriculum, but only members could watch.
  2. Two ways to pay. Many learners pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Others prefer a bank transfer. Both had to work, and offline payments needed a manual check before access opened.
  3. Learners must not get lost. Language learning works best in small, regular steps. If a student cannot find where they stopped, they stop coming back.
  4. A premium look. Auravita sells a premium course, so the website had to feel polished, with strong layout, good imagery and smooth animations.
  5. A fast launch. The whole platform had to be ready in about one week.

Why this matters for online course businesses#

Most course creators start with a video host and a payment link. It works for a while, but students end up jumping between tools, and the creator has no clear view of who is learning and who has dropped off. A single platform that handles sign-up, payment, lessons and progress keeps everything in one place.

The work

What we built

We built a complete e-learning platform for Auravita, from the public website to the student dashboard and admin panel.

A premium public website#

  • Home, About, Course, Membership, Ebooks and Contact pages.
  • A clear course page showing all 6 modules: French basics, everyday vocabulary, grammar, real-life French, learning through stories, and listening practice.
  • A simple "How it works" section: create an account, choose how to pay, unlock your area, learn at your pace.
  • Smooth animations and careful image choices so the site feels as good as the course.

Simple sign-up and flexible payments#

  • Registration asks only for name, email, phone and password, and takes under a minute.
  • Online payments (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) unlock the student area instantly.
  • Offline payments (bank transfer) are checked by the Auravita team in the admin panel. Access opens as soon as they approve it.

A private student area#

  • Each student gets their own dashboard.
  • 27 video lessons, all rewatchable.
  • Lessons tick themselves off as the student watches, so progress is always visible.
  • "Continue where you left off" takes the learner straight back to the exact lesson they stopped on.
  • Downloadable notes and resources are attached to lessons that need them.

An admin panel for the Auravita team#

  • Add or edit modules, lessons, videos and notes.
  • Approve offline payments.
  • See students and their progress.
  • Manage ebooks and website content.

Decisions that mattered#

  • Lock lessons, not the curriculum. Visitors can see exactly what they will learn before they pay, which builds trust and helps sales.
  • Resume in one click. Making it effortless to come back is the biggest factor in whether students finish a language course.
  • Support both payment styles. Offering bank transfer alongside cards meant no learner was turned away.

Questions

About this project

What does an e-learning platform for a course creator need?

At minimum: student sign-up, a payment system, locked lessons for paid members, and progress tracking. Auravita's platform also includes downloadable notes, a resume-where-you-left-off button and an admin panel to manage everything.

Can students pay offline, by bank transfer?

Yes. On Auravita, online payments unlock the course instantly. Bank transfers are checked by the team in the admin panel, and access opens as soon as they approve the payment.

How long does it take to build a course platform like this?

Auravita's platform was delivered in about one week. Timelines depend on how many features you need and how ready your course content is.
