The project in short
TruMarketplace Global wanted one platform that combines digital products, affiliate shopping, local shops and a team-based income system. We built TruBaazaar, an MLM web application and installable PWA with 8 income plans, an ebook and audiobook library, three AI tools, a merchant panel with QR payments, KYC-based payouts and a ledger-based wallet.
What TruBaazaar needed
This MLM software development project was for TruMarketplace Global Private Limited, based in Bokaro, which had a big idea: "One account. The whole bazaar." A member should be able to read ebooks, use AI tools, shop with partner brands, pay at local shops, and earn bonuses on real purchases made by their team, all from one login.
That meant building several systems that normally live apart:
- 8 income plans. The compensation plan included direct sale incentives, binary pair matching with daily capping and carry forward, sponsor matching, rank upgrade bonuses, multi-level shopping bonuses and monthly rewards. Each plan had its own rules and all of them had to calculate correctly, every day.
- Real products, not just referrals. Income had to be tied to genuine purchases. The platform needed a real digital product package and a real marketplace behind it.
- Money you can trust. With thousands of small payouts, members need to see exactly where every rupee came from. Errors or edits would destroy trust.
- Compliance. Payouts needed KYC and TDS handling, and every package purchase needed a GST invoice.
- Local merchants. Shops in the city had to join, list products, accept QR payments, and fund the shopping bonus from their margin.
Why MLM software is hard to build well#
Most MLM software problems come from income calculations. A small bug in a binary tree or a level bonus multiplies across thousands of members. The software has to be exact, auditable and fast, and the plan must be linked to real product sales to stay on the right side of Indian direct selling rules.
What we built
We designed and built TruBaazaar as a Laravel web application with an installable PWA.
Member journey#
- Join with a sponsor code, verified by OTP.
- Activate with a package, which unlocks the digital products and affiliate platform and generates a downloadable GST invoice.
- Shop and build a team, with bonuses earned on real purchases.
8 income plans, fully automated#
- Direct sale incentive on qualified direct sales.

- Automatic leg placement (auto spill) rules.

A ledger you can read#
- Every credit and debit goes into a ledger that is never edited.
- Wallet balance is always built from the ledger, so it always adds up.
- Members can read every line of their own wallet history.
- Payout only after KYC, with TDS handled automatically.
Digital products included with the package#
- eBooks Library with curated ebooks and audiobooks.
- AI Medicine Analyzer – scan a medicine and read what it is.
- AI Health Assistant – answers to everyday health questions.
- AI Astrotalk – a chart from birth date and place.
- Clear notices that the AI tools give general information only.
Affiliate and local marketplace#
- Affiliate shopping with partner brands such as Bewakoof.
- A merchant module where city shops register, manage their own catalogue, accept QR payments and track settlements.
- A public store and shop directory.
Admin panel#
- Manage members, packages, KYC, payouts, merchants, products, banners and content.
- Full reports on income, wallets and settlements.
Decisions that mattered#
- Income only from real purchases. Keeps the business model product-led and closer to India's direct selling rules.
- Append-only ledger. Makes every rupee traceable and every payout easy to audit.

How do you keep MLM wallet balances accurate?
Every transaction is written to an append-only ledger that is never edited. The wallet balance is always calculated from that ledger, so members and admins can trace every rupee.
